Welcome to .what.if. – Ubiquitous BI, Unipessoal LDA (“.what.if.”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).

By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

These Terms govern your use of .what.if.’s advanced training sessions, consulting services, and all other activities conducted through our website at www.whatif.pt.

1. Our Services

.what.if. provides:

• Advanced training sessions on Business Intelligence, particularly Microsoft Power BI applied to health, life sciences, and research contexts.
• Consulting services that help organizations develop tailored BI solutions, dashboards, and data strategies.

All services are provided exclusively online through digital conferencing platforms and collaboration tools.
Participants and clients are responsible for ensuring they have the necessary technology, software, and internet access to participate.

2. Registration and Use

To access certain services, you may be asked to provide personal information such as your name, email address, and institutional affiliation.  By submitting this information, you confirm that it is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the organization (if applicable).
Our Privacy Policy   describes how we collect, store, and protect your data in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Use of our services is restricted to individuals aged 18 years or older.

3. Intellectual Property

All course materials, slide decks, templates, graphics, videos, and written content made available by .what.if. are the intellectual property of .what.if. – Ubiquitous BI, Unipessoal LDA.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use these materials for personal educational purposes only.
You may not copy, share, modify, or redistribute any material without prior written consent from .what.if.

4. Consulting Services

Our consulting services are provided according to the scope, deliverables, and schedule agreed with each client.
While .what.if. strives for accuracy, efficiency, and high-quality deliverables, we cannot guarantee that all outcomes will meet specific business or financial expectations.
Clients are responsible for ensuring that any BI tools or reports delivered by .what.if. are properly validated and adapted to their operational needs.

5. Payments and Refunds

All fees for training and consulting services are displayed in euros (€) and include VAT when applicable.
Payment terms and methods will be communicated at the time of booking or contracting.

6. Third-Party Services

We may use third-party providers (e.g., payment processors, conferencing software, or file-sharing tools) to facilitate our operations.
While we select reliable partners, .what.if. is not responsible for interruptions, data losses, or issues arising from third-party platforms.

7. Data Protection and Privacy

Your privacy matters to us. We collect only the information necessary to deliver our services effectively — typically your name, email, and institutional affiliation.

All data is processed under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Portuguese data protection laws.
We never sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

8. Limitation of Liability

While we make every effort to ensure the quality and security of our services, .what.if. shall not be held liable for:

• Technical issues beyond our control (e.g., internet outages, third-party software failures)

• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to the use or inability to use our services

Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the total amount paid by you for the service in question.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to our services at any time, without prior notice, if you violate these Terms or misuse our content or platforms.

You may discontinue your participation or contract with .what.if. at any time by written notice to info@whatif.pt.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically to reflect improvements or regulatory changes.

Substantial changes will be communicated to registered users via email before they take effect.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with Portuguese law.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Portugal.
