Refund Policy
Last updated: October 2025
At
.what.if. – Ubiquitous BI, Unipessoal LDA (“.what.if.”, “we”, “our”, or “us”), we aim to ensure that every client and participant has a valuable and positive learning experience.
This Refund Policy explains when and how refunds or rescheduling options are available for our
advanced training sessions and
consulting services.
By enrolling in a course or contracting a consulting service, you agree to this policy.
1. General Conditions
Our services are provided exclusively online, and access to digital materials begins shortly after registration or contract confirmation.
Because of this, eligibility for refunds depends on the timing of your cancellation and the type of service purchased.
If you have any questions about your specific situation, please contact us at info@whatif.pt before submitting a refund request.
2. Advanced Training Programs
a. Cancellations by the Participant
- A full refund will be granted if you cancel your registration up to 10 business days before the scheduled start date of the training.
- Cancellations made between 5 and 10 business days before the start date are eligible for a 50% refund.
- Cancellations made less than 5 business days before the start date are not eligible for a refund, but you may request to transfer your spot to a later edition of the same course (if available).
- No refunds will be issued once the training has started or after course materials have been accessed.
b. Cancellations by .what.if.
In the unlikely event that .what.if. cancels or reschedules a course, you will be offered:
- A full refund, or
- The option to transfer your registration to a future session at no additional cost.
We reserve the right to postpone or cancel sessions due to unforeseen circumstances, such as instructor illness, technical issues, or insufficient enrollment.
3. Consulting Services
For consulting engagements, refund and cancellation conditions are governed by the signed
service agreement or
proposal.
In general:
- Refunds may be issued only if .what.if. fails to deliver the agreed scope of work.
- Once consulting work has started, fees for completed stages or deliverables are non-refundable.
- In case of project termination by mutual agreement, refunds will be calculated based on the proportion of work already completed.
4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please contact us at info@whatif.pt with:
- Your full name,
- The course name or service title,
- The payment confirmation or invoice number, and
- A short explanation of your request.
Refunds will be processed within
10 business days after confirmation of eligibility and issued through the original payment method.
You will receive written confirmation once the refund has been processed.
5. Non-Refundable Services
The following items are non-refundable:
- Access to digital course materials already delivered or downloaded.
- Customized or private consulting projects.
- Training sessions completed in full or partially attended.
- Administrative fees or bank transfer costs related to international payments.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy to reflect changes in our operations or legal requirements.
Any updates will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
Substantial changes will be communicated via email to affected participants or clients.
